My name is Rob Severson.
I have had the privilege of gaining extensive knowledge, experience, and relationships during my 38-year career. I’ve been a borrower, a venture capitalist, a lender, and a banker. Now I am putting all of this to good use as a financing coach.

I think what you would probably like to know that doesn’t necessarily come out in the resume is my working style, my values, and who I am as a person.
First, I am affordable. I am motivated at this stage in my life by giving back some of what I’ve been given. I’m not free of course, but I offer very reasonable rates given all that I will do for you.
Second, I am results-oriented and client-centered. Lots of people say these sorts of things, but I think when you meet me, you’ll see that it’s true. I really do get a charge out of seeing my clients’ success. I’m energized by finding a solution to a problem and by bringing people together to make things happen. I am tenacious. If I believe in you, I will be your best advocate. If you can sell me on your business and yourself, I will sell you to others who can help you. I will strategize and collaborate with you. Most importantly, if I don’t think that I will be able to get you where you want to be, I won’t waste your time and I won’t take your money.
Finally, I’m strategic and I’m a creative problem solver. I have the breadth of experience to be able to look at your challenge from a lot of different perspectives. I also know how others will look at it and I can help you to be prepared for that. I can think of really fresh ways to deal with common problems because I am not a cookie-cutter kind of guy. I am fascinated by ideas and by successful connections between people and things. But I am also practical. I can demystify the financing and banking world for you…coaching you on how to turn the theories into real results.
Third, and most importantly, I value relationships above all else. I am authentic and I will do what I say I am going to do. Because of my reliability, I’ve built trusting relationships everywhere. People respect my opinion and my endorsement holds weight in the financing community. People who can get things done will answer my phone calls. That’s a good feeling and one I’ve earned over the years. I enjoy putting it to work for my clients.
